GMEAN(<List>)

 

Description

This function returns the geometric mean of its arguments.  Blank cells and cells containing strings are ignored.  The function is given by:

 

 

Parameters

 

<List>

Any combination of numbers, cells, or ranges with each of the values greater than or equal to 0.

 

Examples

 

GMEAN(56, 49, 99) = 64.76491

 

GMEAN(F10:F14) = 3.4712517

Where F10:F14 = 2, 2, 3, 6, and 7.

 

GMEAN(U7:V15) = #Error

Operand less than or equal to zero, where U13 = 0.
