HMEAN(<List>)

 

Description

This function returns the harmonic mean of its arguments.  Blank cells and cells containing strings are ignored.  The function is given by:

 

 

Parameters

 

<List>

Any combination of numbers, cells, or ranges where each value is not equal to 0.

 

Examples

 

HMEAN(F10:F15) = 3.0434783

Where F10:F14 = 2, 2, 3, 6, and 7.

 

HMEAN(C1:C5) = #Error

Operand equal to 0, where C4 = 0.
