MEDIAN(<List>)

 

Description

This function returns the median of its arguments.  Blank cells and cells containing strings are ignored.

 

Parameters

 

<List>

Any combination of numbers, cells, or ranges.

 

Examples

 

MEDIAN(A1:A6) = 80.5

Where A1:A6 = 65, 70, 74, 87, 88, 95.

 

MEDIAN(2, 8, 6, 5, 9) = 6
