MODE(<List>)

 

Description

This function returns the mode, or most frequently occurring value, from its arguments.  Empty cells and cells containing text are ignored.

 

Parameters

 

<List>

Any combination of numbers, cells, or ranges.

 

Examples

 

MODE(5, 4, 10, 8, 7, 5, 4, 14, 5) = 5

 

MODE(A1:A7) = 2.3

Where A1:A7 = 2.3, 3.4, 5.0, 3.4, 3.4, 2.3, 2.3.
