MSQ(<List>)

 

Description

This function returns the mean of the squares of its arguments.  Blank cells and cells containing strings are ignored.  The function is given by:

 

 

Parameters

 

<List>

Any combination of numbers, cells, or ranges.

 

Examples

 

MSQ(-9, -3, -5, 0, 1) = 23.2

 

MSQ(F10:F14) = 20.4

Where F10:F14 = 2, 2, 3, 6, and 7.

 

MSQ(D1:D6) = 2373.6667

Where D1:D6 = 4, 56, 33, 100, 0, and -1.
